2008 Vigilante Parade results

H.J. Roberts Cup: The combined Capital and Helena High School senior classes won for the greatest amount of class participation, with 46.23 percent. Juniors came in second, with 43.98 percent, followed by sophomores at 35.98 percent and freshman at 33.69 percent.

Wahl Cup: Seniors got the Wahl Cup for having the highest number of prize-winning entries.
Grand Champion: Winner was under the category of Pioneer Life. “Hilger Sheep Ranch” featured Stephanie Little, Nick Thomas, Zach Vogl, John Proul, Hayley Maykuth, Kelsey Chambers, Scott Carpenter, Colter Koehler and Jake Prevel.
Judges’ Choice Award: Under the category of Helena Business, “MT Power” won with Brady Batista, Kansys Kanta, Sergio Graman, Austin Hyndman, Jake Olson, Josh Olson, Thea Ostwald and Ed Tinker.
American Indian
First place was “Native American Daily Activities”, with Danielle Nisbet, Cassie Bossler, Avery Gold, Shelby Hendrickson, Jamie Hill and Dan Sorenson.
Second place was “Story telling”, with Lance Stukaloff, John Rincon, Colter Olmstead, Ryan Kropp, Tyler Christianson, Mary Beall and Tucker Colvin.
Third place went to “Old Medicine Singers and Dancers”, with Quincy Bjornberg, Orrin Stracener, Sam Salway, Sara MacDiarmid, Ryan Luciano, Allyn Dennis and Aaron Dale.
Helena Business
First place was won by “The Broadwater Hotel”, with Jack Ballantyne, Kory Farrell, Austin Feiss, Ellen Yarberry, Hunter Feiss, Lauren Formaz, Tony Lubick, Ross Marty, Joey McKeon, Aislinn Munck, Erica Pimley and Riley Griffin.
Second place went to “Eddy’s Bakery”, with Kim Green, Ian McKibben, Jow Swain, Lily Kiely, Jeremy Gould, Brendan Hooks, Jack Hood, Ben Hills, Rylan Boggs, Becca Harper, Jake Brodsky and Jon Cardiello.
Third place was “Capital City Bowling Alley, 1958”, featuring Kylie Schweitzer, Michelle Smigaj, Mary Miller, Jordan Johnston, Ashley Hicks, Kaity Harrington, Jenna Cunningham, Zach Clinch, Rian Bartsch and Amanda Roberts.
Fourth place was awarded to “Drive-In Theater’s Sky Hi”, with Mandy Evanson, Katie Sillick, Alyson Cummings, Briggs Alsbury, Greg Elison, Catie Giard, Allison Green, Abigail Hunthausen and Travis Dunkle.
