MCC seeks summer crew members

Wednesday, April 05, 2006

The Montana Conservation Corps (MCC) is recruiting members for their MontanaYES program this summer. MontanaYES (Youth Engaged in Service) is recruiting members 14-16 years old for environmental conservation work crews. MontanaYES is a 5-week outdoor summer experience.

Members will gain skills and knowledge in community service, environmental conservation, working outdoors, and working within a close-knit crew of their peers. Individuals will have the opportunity to work in front- and backcountry settings. Upon completing the 5-week session, each member will receive a cash service award.
MontanaYES is an experiential learning opportunity for youth to enhance self-esteem, gain confidence in their decision-making abilities and acquire living skills.
If you are looking for a rewarding experience, please contact the Montana Conservation Corps at 1900 N. Main, Suite 11, or by calling 495-9214.
